Cobra Suvendu Foundation, founded by Mr. Suvendu Swain in 2010, is dedicated to the conservation of Snakes, Reptiles and other wildlife in Odisha. Inspired by the renowned herpetologist Romulus Whittaker, Suvendu has tirelessly worked to protect and preserve snake populations and their habitats since 2006.

With more than 20,000 rescues and rehabilitation of Snakes & reptiles to his name and numerous training and awareness workshops conducted all over Odisha,  Suvendu's efforts have significantly impacted wildlife conservation particularly Snakes and other reptiles. Through education, rescue operations, and community engagement, the foundation strives to promote a harmonious coexistence between humans and these often-misunderstood creatures.

On behalf of the organisation volunteers have conducted rescues and rehabilitation along with awareness in different Forest Divisions & Ranges across Odisha

The organisation is prospering due to the immense Support of the officials of the Odisha Forest Department, Veterinarians, Biologist and other Research Scholars
